Title - Security beefed up in trains

BOKARO: Security has been beefed up in trains passing through Bokaro and other stations falling under Adra railway division following the Maoist attack on Dhanbad-Patna Intercity Express. Railway security officials while taking precautionary measures have sounded alert and sought effective coordination from state police in this regard. Senior divisional security commissioner of Railway Protection Force (RPF), Adra division, Jyoti Kumar Satija said escort party in trains was alerted. tnn"Officers of sub-inspector and assistant sub-inspector ranks to go along with escort parties in trains for strict supervision."Satija said he asked state police to keep informing them about Naxalite movement in civil areas near railway tracks if they get any tip-off so that they could provide extra security on the route."We never discriminate between passengers travelling on Rajdhani or any passenger train. For us they all are same and we give equal importance in providing security," said Satija. A dog squad was seen patrolling in Bokaro station while RPF personnel were also inspecting trains arriving at the station.
