Title - Sealdah Rajdhani express became the first Rajdhani to get Swarna coaches - check out the pictures

In a bid to improve passenger experience Indian Railway is upgrading coaches of its most premium train that is Rajdhani express. Railway has introduced Swarna coaches to passengers travelling from Rajdhani. Initially the newly set up Swarna coaches will be made available in Sealdah - New Delhi Rajdhani express which will later be available to other Rajdhani express trains as well.

Railway ministry has announced the upgradation of these new coaches into Rajdhani express trains on Twitter by stating that "Ministry of Railways launched 1ST Swarna Rajdhani ( Train no 12314 New Delhi- Sealdah Rajdhani) rake today.A Major Leap in Improving Passenger Experience on Rajdhani Trains:14 Rajdhani Trains & 15 Shatabdi Trains will be upgraded under Project Swarna."

Earlier Ministry of Railways has also announced that passengers travelling from Shatabdi and Rajdhani express will get text messages on their mobile phones of their train status if their train gets delayed by more than one hour.
