Title - Running days of weekly trains from Villupuram changed

The Southern Railway has changed the days of running of the Villupuram—Kharagpur Weekly Express Train from Mondays to Tuesdays with effect from August 21.A statement from the Southern Railway states that with effect from August 23 the Kharagpur-Villupuram Weekly Express Train (No. 22603) would be run on Thursdays, instead of Wednesdays.The Puducherry—Mangalore Weekly Express Train would be run on Fridays, instead of Tuesdays, from August 17; and, the Mangalore—Puducherry Weekly Express Train would be run on Saturdays, instead of Mondays, with effect from August 18.The number of the Puducherry—Mangalore Express has been changed from 16043 to 16855 and that of the Mangalore—Puducherry Express from 16044 to 16856.The train will leave Puducherry at 8.15 p.m. on Fridays to reach Mangalore Central at 1 p.m. the next day. In the return direction the train will leave Mangalore Central at 5.05 p.m. on Saturdays and reach Puducherry at 10 a.m. the next day.
