Title - RTC’s Dasara offer for passengers

Here is cool news for RTC passengers travelling by Visakhapatnam Railway Station to Vizianagaram by ‘Sheetal’ service being operated by Visakhapatnam Region of RTC. The basic fare is being reduced from Rs.1.50 paise a km to Rs.1.20 paise a km with effect from Thursday (October 18). This will result in the passenger paying around Rs.16 less on one-way fare, according to RTC Regional Manager Y. Jagadeesh Babu.Passengers have been requested to avail of the AC service at the lower fare.

Departure advanced

The departure time of Visakhapatnam – Tirupathi Garuda Plus service is being advanced by 2 hours with effect from October 20. The luxury service will leave Dwaraka Bus Station (RTC Complex) at 5.30 p.m. every day.

People from the city coming home from Hyderabad for Dasara vacation can avail of five special Super Luxury and Indra (AC) buses being operated by RTC from October 18 to 23.

The corporation is also operating around 100 specials from Anakapalle and Narsipatnam towns for the convenience of ‘Bhavani’ devotees visiting the temple of Goddess Durga at Vijayawada. Special buses will also be operated from Visakhapatnam to Rajahmundry, Kakinada and various other places in East Godavari district, based on the demand, for the convenience of people visiting their native places for Dasara.
