Title - Rs 45.20 crore for RoB in Jind

Chandigarh: With a view to constructing a Railway Over Bridge (RoB) on the Delhi-Bathinda railway line in Jind city, Rs 45.20 crore has been approved. An official spokesman said the RoB would be constructed on the NH-71 that passes through the middle of the city. The RoB would be four-lanned. He said out of this amount, Rs 23.02 crore would be spent by the Ministry of Railways whereas the remaining amount of Rs 22.19 crore would be spent by the Public Works (Building and Roads) Department.The spokesman said the construction of the RoB would facilitate smooth flow of traffic in the city. Also, the vehicles on both sides of the railway crossing would not have to wait in queue for long.
