Udaipur: The luxury train, ‘Royal Rajasthan on Wheels’ started by Rajasthan Tourism in conjunction with Indian Railways will start on its journey from Safdarjung railway station in New Delhi  on October 6. There will be 26 passengers on board the train as compared to the actual limit, which is 82.

During its journey of seven nights or eight days, the train would start on its royal journey from New Delhi and travel through Jodhpur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh and then enter Agra for the tourists to visit Taj Mahal. Apart from Agra in Uttar Pradesh, the train would travel through Varanasi back to Delhi.

Proving to be a perfect example of travelling extravaganza, this train offers a travel experience that attracts tourists from far and wide. With interiors furnished with details that remind one of the bygone era of splendor and magnificence, this train contains all items of luxury such as ‘spa’, ‘gym’ among others.

The royal luxury train, designed to satisfy the growing demand of luxury train travelling, has a capacity of 82 passengers on board and its fare is 5775 $ per person and its cost per person per suite is estimated to be 11,200 $.
