Northern Railway has completed the survey for a new Rohtak-Meham-Hansi railway line.Stating this here on Monday, officials of the Haryana Government said the project is estimated to cost Rs.406.87 crore.They said the Rewari-Jhajjar-Rohtak railway line and the Sonepat-Jind railway line are likely to be completed by March 31, 2014.Meanwhile, the State’s first road project on Built-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis for improvement of the Gurgaon–Faridabad and Ballabgarh-Sohna roads has been awarded to Reliance Infrastructure Limited on a negative grant of Rs.150.30 crore. The work has already been completed and provisional certificate issued.They further disclosed that the project for four-laning of the 151-km Rai Malikpur (Rajasthan Border)-Narnaul-Mahendragarh-Dadri-Bhiwani-Kharak corridor on DBFOT basis has been approved by the Planning Commission for grant of Viability Gap Funding support. The project’s cost is estimated at Rs.1,366.95 crore. |
