Title - Rewari-Rohtak rail link to function by January: Deepender

Member of Parliament from Rohtak, Deepender Singh Hooda on Monday said that he has high hopes that the railway service on Rewari-Jhajjar-Rohtak route would begin in the first week of January. He said that the railway service would not only benefit Rewari, Jhajjar and Rohtak, but would also benefit other areas of the State.Hooda was addressing a gathering after inaugurating the wrestling championship organised on the occasion of birth anniversary of freedom fighter and his grandfather late Choudhary Ranbir Singh at village Birdhana.Hooda said that he had a long discussion with Union Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal regarding various railway projects in the State. He said that Bansal had agreed upon the commencement of Rewari-Jhajjar-Rohtak railway line in the first week of coming January. “The work of this railway line had been completed,” said Hooda.On this occasion, Hooda paid rich tributes to Choudhary Ranbir Singh. Speaking on the occasion, Haryana Education and Social Welfare Minister, Geeta Bhukkal said that the birth anniversary of great freedom fighter Choudhary Ranbir Singh had been celebrated in the State and all over the country. His contribution towards freedom of the country could never be forgotten, she added.
