Title - Reservation tickets from second entry soon

Railways will set up an Integrated Reservation System at the second entry to the Thiruvananthapuram Central station on the Power House road for reservation of tickets to various destinations.This was announced by Divisional Railway Manager Rajesh Agrawal at the fourth meeting of the Divisional Railway Users’ Consultative Committee of the Thiruvananthapuram Railway Division held at the divisional office here on Thursday.The system will enable Railways to provide tickets in the reservation category at the second entry. There will be separate queues for reserved and unreserved tickets.The Divisional Railway Manager said that additional manpower would be provided at the Petah station for day-to-day work. The garden in front of the Alappuzha station will be spruced up with sponsorship.The Divisional Railway Manager reiterated Railways’ commitment to ensure safety of commuters and punctuality of trains.Mr. Agrawal gave an account of various passenger-friendly measures taken by the division during this financial year.Senior Divisional Commercial Manager A.
