Title - Record increase in freight loading in Tiruchi Division

Tiruchi Railway Division registered record 25% increase in freight loading during 2016 – 17 financial year. During the year Tiruchi Railway Division clocked 8373 tonnes in freight loading against 6700 tonnes during the previous year.

A rise in coal, iron ore, cement and container load was witnessed in freight loading. The division also achieved 97.5% punctuality.
