Title - Rangiya Division first to achieve 100% Mechanized Deep Screening of tracks in North Frontier Railway

Rangiya division of North Frontier Railway has become the first division that now can carry out 100% mechanized deep screening of tracks. Civil Engineering department clubbed various track maintenance machines to form a single unit. This machine can now be used for all kinds of maintenance of tracks from a single section.

Mechanised deep screening is the process of screening the stones or ballast below the railway track to remove muck and all unwanted matter which adversely affect track drainage.
