Title - Railways to run special train to Pandharpur for annual Ashadhi Ekadashi celebrations - Times Of Indi

PUNE: For the benefit of devotees from the state, the Central railway administration has decided to run a special train between Kolhapur and Kurduwadi stations on occasion of annual Ashadhi Ekadashi fair at the Pandharpur. The train will run every day starting from June 25 up to July 5, will halt at Miraj, Pandharpur and also at the smaller stations on the route.

The Kolhapur-Kurduwadi train (number 01205) will leave from Kolhapur at 6.15 pm, will reach Miraj at 7.30 pm, Pandharpur at 10.20 pm and will reach Kurduwadi at 11.30 pm. The train will start its return journey from Kurduwadi (number 12026) in morning at 6.10 am, will reach Pandharpur at 7.05 am, Miraj 9.35 am and will reach Kolhapur at 10.30 am.
The train will have 15 coaches including 3 unreserved, 8 sleeper class, one each coach of 3-tier and 2-tier and two SLR coaches. The railway administration has appealed to the devotees to avail of the services of this special train. The administration has said that advanced reservation facility for the train is available at all the authorised reservation centers and also through on-line procedure.

Lakhs of devotees travel to the Pandharpur for Ashadhi Ekadashi fair every year. The railway administration has displayed the details of the train at all prominent railway stations in Pune division.
