Title - Railways creates awareness on environment

Manjula Rangarajan, Divisional Railway Manager, distributed pamphlets containing awareness messages on protecting the environment to train passengers at Tiruchi Railway Junction on Thursday.The event marked the occasion of the World Environment Day organised by Tiruchi district Exnora and youth Exnora in association with the Tiruchi Railway Division. The DRM requested the passengers to save the planet by planting samplings, judicious use of water and energy, and adoption of safety measures. Around 3,000 pamphlets were distributed.S.A. Abdul Rahman, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, R. Soundararajan, Chief Medical Superintendent, and C. Balasubramanian, president, Tiruchi district Exnora, were present.
