Title - Railway will soon introduce one app for all services

Till date you have to download various applications on your smart phone in order to access different railway services such as if you want to book your ticket you need an IRCTC app, if you want to order a meal you need different, if you want purchase platform ticket you need another app or if you want to register a complain, again you need to download another app and the same story continues for accessing different services.

However, now since Indian Railways is under going through transformation phase and it is trying to utilize its assets to increase its income as much as possible, therefore, soon all the services offered by Indian Railways will be integrated into a single app.

The new app will take care of ticket booking, ordering bed roll, ordering meal, lodging in retiring room, booking taxi, lodging complains if anything found untidy, accessing digital entertainment if available on board and if your ticket is not confirmed you will also be able to book airline ticket.

This app will be developed in three stages in which medical facilities and passenger police connectivity will be added that can be used in case of an emergency. The will also be enhanced for parking assistance at railway stations.

Through these changes railway is expecting an annual income of Rs. 500 crore.
