Title - Railway to expand RPF Security Management System (RSMS)

RPF Security Management System (RSMS) has been developed by Security Directorate of Railway Board in collaboration with CRIS (Centre for Railway Information System) to update the outdated present communication system. This system has many inbuilt features like –

Fast e-communication system through the customized web portal which will enable to phase out the primitive system of vocal communication of messages through telephone lines and manual writing of messages.

• It will help railways to develop paperless office.
• This system also allows to track every case online 24x7.
• It will allow seamless exchange of data between different modules.
• Reports can be generated automatically through this system
• Data analysis will become easier and quicker.

Presently Security Directorate is connected to Zonal Headquarters and the divisional Headquarters and all communications and data transmissions are done through RSMS module. It is targeted to connect 137 locations in 06 divisions and RPF training center with divisional Headquarters to bring in the stream up to Railway Board.
