Title - Railway timetable all set for revamp from July 1

ALLAHABAD: In a bid to help the passengers, the Indian Railways has planned to introduce various new trains in the current year according to the new railway timetable. This includes the much awaited Kanpur-Allahabad Intercity Express which would of great help for the local passengers. This train would depart from Kanpur at 6.30 a.m. and reach Allahabad at 9.35 a.m. During the return journey, the train will leave Allahabad at about 6.30 p.m. and reach Kanpur at 9.40 p.m. This train will stop at Bharwari, Sirathu, Khaga, Fatehpur, Bindki Road and Aung. However, the date of introduction of this train will be announced later.Another train that will be introduced this year include weekly train number 12443/12444 Anand Vihar-Haldia Express, which would pass via Mughalsarai, Gomoh and Purulia. This train will have 18 coaches and leave Anand Vihar every Tuesday at about 7.10 p.m. and arrive at Kanpur at 1.05 a.m., Allahabad at 3.55 a.m. and reach Haldia on Wednesday at about 8.30 p.m. During the return journey, the train will leave Haldia at 8.05 a.m. every Thursday and reach Allahabad at 1.20 a.m., Kanpur at 3.50 a.m. and finally terminate at Haldia on Friday at 11.50 p.m. The date of introduction of this train will be announced later.Another new train that will be introduced include train number 12520/12519 Kamakhya-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus AC Express (weekly) via Mughalsarai, Chheoki and Manikpur. This train will depart from Kamakhya at 8.50 p.m. and arrive at Mirzapur at 6.10 p.m. and reach LTT at about 5.50 p.m.. The train will depart from LTT at 7.50 a.m. and reach Mirzapur at 6.38 a.m. and finally terminate at Kamakhya at 4.15 a.m. Another new train that will be operational this year is Ahmedabad-Gorakhpur Express (weekly). This train will pass through the route of Bandikui, Achnera, Mathura, Farukkhabad and Kanpur. This train will comprise of 18 coaches.

The Kanpur-Amristar (weekly) comprising of 19 coaches passing through Kanpur, Farukkhabad, Bareilly and Amritsar has also been introduced. This train will leave Kanpur at 9.45 on Friday and terminate at Amritsar at 4.50 p.m. on Saturday. This train will depart from Amritsar at about 12.30 p.m. on Thursday and terminate at Kanpur at 8.30 p.m. on Friday. The 19-coaches-long Jabalpur-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express would pass through Lalitpur, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cantt and Mathura.

Weekly train 15237/15238 Darbhanga-Ajmer Express passing through Raxual, Sitapur, Bareilly, Kasganj and Mathura, and would consist of 18 coaches. The new train 12421/12422 Amritsar-Hazur Sahib Nanded Express would be a weekly train that will pass through Nanded, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cantt and Amritsar. It will comprise 18 coaches.

Another new train that will be introduced this year is Jhansi-Bandra Express (weekly). This train comprising of about 13 coaches will pass through Gwalior, Maski and Nagda. However, date of introduction of this train will be announced later. This train will be owned by North Central Railway. Train number 51818/51817 Jhansi-Tikamgarh passenger would also be introduced this year. This passenger train will pass through Lalitpur.
