The government railway police rescued a 12-year-old boy at the Secunderabad railway station here on Friday.According to M Kantha Rao, superintendent of police, the boy, Suraj, hails from Gudihatnur in Adilabad district.On Thursday, he and his mother went to the Secunderabad railway station to board a train to Bangalore. While his mother was buying tickets at the counter, the boy went missing. When he was loitering on the platform, railway police noticed and rescued him. On being questioned, he gave them his parents’ details and mobile number. The police then contacted his parents over mobile phone and handed him over to them. |
