Title - Rail service in Kashmir Valley will be restored in 10 days

The restoration work of railway tracks from South Kashmir to North Kashmir will be completed soon and railway can start its train on regular basis within 10 days.

The restoration work off railway track from Srinagar to Budgam is completed and train service is resumed from today.

The damaged track from Budgam to Srinagar has begun from Wednesday with Accidental Relief train ran on track to assess the level of damage. The train will also access the signal boxes, wiring, junction boxes and other infrastructure.

Railway Protection Force Association said that railway has suffered huge loss during unrest in Kashmir valley due to which railway was forced to stop its services.
