Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has expressed shock and grief at the fire that claimed the lives of 32 passengers of the Tamil Nadu Express and directed the Railway Minister to coordinate with the Andhra Pradesh government to provide assistance to the kin of the victims. Vice-President Hamid Ansari expressed sorrow and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families.
