Title - Plea for special train during councelling

The Kanyakumari Railway User’s Association has urged the Southern Railway authorities to operate a special train service during the Anna University counselling sessions.In a statement issued here secretary of the association, P. Edward Jeni stated that over 22,050 students had passed the higher secondary school examination with good marks from the district and most of them would attend the counselling this year.

Only two trains

With just two trains (12634 -Kanyakumari - Chennai Kanyakumari Express and 16724 Thiruvananthapuram - Chennai Ananthpurai Express) running through the district most of them would find it impossible to get seats.So the association has sought for a special train to Chennai for the benefit of the students.
