Title - Plea for more coaches in Amrita Express

The annual general body meeting of the Rail and Road Passengers Welfare Association has urged the Railway authorities to add two more sleeper class coaches and one air-conditioned three-tier coach in the Palakkad-Thiruvananthapuram Amrita Express (No.16344) considering the heavy rush of passengers. The meeting held here on Saturday elected V.R. Mohandas as president, P. Krishnan Kutty as secretary, and Vallathol Muraleedharan as treasurer. Udayakumar, R. Chandrasekharan, and Kaja Hussain are the vice-presidents.
