Title - Platform number at Virar station renumbered

For the convenience of passengers and uniformity, Western Railway has changed platform numbers of Virar station. This change will be effective from midnight of August 12 / 13. The new platform number is given below from West to East –

 Existing Platform number from West to East –

8 – 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6 – 7

New Platform number from West to East –

1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 6 – 3A – 4A
