Title - Optional catering facilities extended for 6 months in 3 more pairs of express trains

In continuation to the scheme of optional catering introduced by Ministry of Railways, 3 more pairs of trains have been brought under the ambit of optional catering as -

• Train Number 09003/04 Bandra Terminus – H. Nizamuddin Rajdhani Special Express
• Train Number 12239/40 Mumbai Central – Jaipur Duronto Express
• Train Number 12227/28 Mumbai Central – Indore Duronto Express

This facility will be available from July 31 for a period of 6 months in the above-mentioned trains.

During the trial period, catering services will be included by default; however, the passengers have to specifically 'opt out' from the mandatory food option. Accordingly, the catering apportionment charges will be excluded from the total ticket fare. This facility is available o­n all tickets such as tickets from PRS counters, e-ticketing portals of IRCTC and such tickets shall be issued with reduced fare.
