Title - Observance of Rajbhasha Fortnight Begins On SCR

Rajbhasha Fortnight-2012 celebrations have begun o­n S.C.Railway from today.Rajbhasha Fortnight is being celebrated o­n the occasion of Hindi Day in accordance to the Official Language Policy of Govt. of India.The Celebration begun with the "Special Contact Campaign" in various departments of this office, wherein Rajbhasha staff briefed the official & Staff about the importance of Hindi day and motivated them to work in Official Language i.e. Hindi.Apart from this Hindi Shruthlekhan & Hindi typing competitions were organised in which Officers & Staff participated in large number.Mrs. Mangala Abhyankar, Deputy General Manager (Official Language), S.C.Rly. had underlined the importance of "Hindi Day" and said that our motto is to encourage the Officers & Staff to work in Hindi.Various Rajbhasha related programmes are being organised o­n this occasion.Though this Railway is in the region 'C' as per Official Language Rules, but is o­n the forefront in the usage of Rajbhasha Hindi.

During this Rajbhasha Fortnight various programmes like Hindi Geet Antakshari, Staging of Drama, Skits etc. will be organised.Valedictory function will be organised o­n 14th September and o­n that day Hindi House Journal "Rail Sudha" will be released by the GM."Rail Ki Bhasha - Mel Ki Bhasha" drama will be staged and 10 Officers & 30 Staff will be awarded by GM under General Managers' Award Scheme for doing commendable work in Hindi.
