Title - No replacement of Chennai Central - New Delhi Garb Rath from Humsafar Express

Plan to convert Chennai - Hazrat Nizamuddin Garib Rath into Humsafar Express has been dropped by Railways. This news is a big relief for passengers as Chennai - Hazrat Nizamuddin Garib Rath is the most sought train on this route.

Railway will now introduce new Humsafar train between Chennai Central and New Delhi. Also old rake of Garib Rath Express will continue to serve this train. Chennai - New Delhi, Chennai - Howrah, and Chennai - Guwahati are among the long-distance routes that have the highest ticket demand throughout the year and during festivals securing confirm tickets becomes impossible. 

Garib Rath Express is the most sought train of this route as it covers 2176 kilometers in 28.5 hours.
