Title - No more pasting of reservation charts on train coaches at Howrah station

The practise of pasting reservation charts on train coaches will be discontinued from October 16 at Howrah station.

To find the status of tickets, passengers can follow these steps -

  • Waitlisted and RAC passengers get their status updated o­n their registered mobile number through SMS.
  • Digital Charting system has been installed at major stations and at other stations, Manual Boards are installed for displaying the status of the waitlisted tickets to guide the passengers.
  • Tickets with confirmed status at the time of booking have information printed o­n the ticket itself.
  • IVRS service through number - 139
