Title - No more fog, still trains are running late by upto 19 hours

The time to hide behind the fog for railways is over and still trains are running upto 19 hours late. Last Sunday at Lucknow station, several trains arrived 3 to 19 hours late from their scheduled arrival. Railway says that due to operational difficulties such delay occur. But it is the passenger who face the real problem, especially those who choose a station to break their journey.

Many such passengers missed their trains. Dehradun – Muzaffarpur express was late by 19 hours, Amritsar mail by 7 hours, Neelanchal Express by 8 hours and Himgiri was running late by 7 hours.

Dormitories and waiting halls remained full and many passengers were seen lying on the platform waiting for trains.
