Title - No 24x7 metro link service from Airport

On its Airport line Delhi Metro might not plan to operate overnight trains. A proposal was floated last year regarding the same but no decision has been taken yet.

Last year a survey was conducted to assess the feasibility of running trains beyond midnight primarily aiming to serve passengers going abroad.

“We do not plan to operate trains overnight at this point. In any case, we get a few hours at night for maintenance,” a railway spokesperson said.

Current operation time of airport metro service is from 04:45AM to 11:40PM over 23km long corridor.
