Title - NFR special trains to clear Puja rush

GUWAHATI, Sept 11 – The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) today said it has started running 76 trips by four weekly special trains to Chennai, Chandigarh, Varanasi and Yesvantpur to clear the extra rush of passengers during the upcoming Puja festive season.
The 02508 will depart from Kamakhya to Chennai every Monday at 2 pm between September 9 and November 25, while the 02507 will leave from Chennai to Kamakhya every Thursday at 11 am between September 12 and November 28.

The train will stop at Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Rampurhat, Asansol, Khurda Road, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada and will be composed of one AC-2 tier coach, one AC-3 tier coach, seven sleepers, four general second class and two SLR/SLRD coaches.

The 05903 will depart from Dibrugarh to Chandigarh every Friday 8.40 am between October 11 to November 29, while the 05904 will depart from Chandigarh to Dibrugarh every Sunday 11.15 pm between October 13 and December 1.

It will halt at New Tinsukia, Dimapur, Lumding, Guwahati, new Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Muzaffarpur and Lucknow among other stations and will consist of one AC-2 tier coach, one AC-3 tier, nine sleepers, four general second class and two SLR/SLRD coaches.

The 02552 from Kamakhya will depart every Wednesday at 2 pm to Yesvantpur between October 2 and November 27. The 02551 will leave from Yesvantpur for Kamakhya every Saturday at 8.30 am between October 5 and November 30.

The train will stop at Rangia, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Asansol, Bhubaneshwar, Vizianagaram, Vijayawada Junction and Chennai Central and it will consist of one AC first class coach, besides one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, six sleepers, six general second class and two GSLR coaches.

The 05653 will depart from Guwahati to Varanasi every Saturday at 4.45 pm between October 5 and November 30, while the 05652 will leave from Varanasi to Guwahati every Sunday at 9.05 pm between October 6 and December 1.

The Guwahati-Varanasi Weekly Special will go via Rangia, New Bongaigaon, New Alipurduar, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Begusarai, Patna and Mughalsarai. There will be one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 14 sleepers, four general second class and two SLR/SLRD coaches in the train.
