Title - New IG for Railway Police

The Railways will have a new Inspector-General of Police. R. Arumugam, Inspector General of Police, Economic Offences wing was transferred and posted as IG, Railways. As Sumit Saran, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) returned from the deputation to CBI, he was posted as DIG, Coimbatore, while the present DIG H.M. Jayaram was shifted to Thanjavur. Tirupur SP Asra Garg was transferred and posted as SP of Dharmapuri while the incumbent Amit Kumar Singh was shifted to Tirupur on Saturday.
