Title - New DEMU train services between Silghat Town and Guwahati

Minister of State for Railways, Manoj Sinha flagged of new DEMU train services between Silghat Town and Guwahati to improve connectivity between the two cities.

Following train services were flagged off –

  • 75723 / 75724 Guwahati – New Bongaigaon DEMU via Goalpara Town
  • 75727/75728 Guwahati – Haibargaon DEMU in place of

Both these DEMU trains will replace 55806 / 55806 Guwahati – New Bongaigaon Passenger and 55815 / 55816 Guwahati – Haibargaon Passenger train.

DEMU trains provide flexibility of increased seating capacity with more speed.
