Title - New Bangalore-Talaguppa train

Ministry of Railways finally finalised the date to run the train between Bangalore and Talaguppa. Lok Sabha member B Y Raghavendra inaugurating a State Bank of Mysore branch on the PES College here on Saturday said the train would run from September 8.Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa would flag off the train.  The locals requested him to run passenger trains between Shimoga and Talaguppa.“There is no question of stopping Mysore -Talaguppa train to run Bangalore-Talaguppa train. Mysore- Talaguppa train would be retained,” he said, adding, Rs 240 crore was spent on the gauge conversion between Shimoga and Talaguppa. He said Shimoga-Harihar route survey would be taken up if farmers agreed to it.
