NAGPUR: In view of the work on converting narrow gauge (NG) railway line into broad gauge, South East Central Railway (SECR) has decided to operate narrow gauge trains till Saunsar only. In a release, senior divisional commercial manager (SrDCM) Pradeep Kumar said the curtailed schedule of trains will be effective from April 20 and will be in force for two months. The SECR is taking up construction of a tunnel in 69km Chhindwara and Saunsar section so NG trains from Nagpur will operate till Saunsar and return. Accordingly, SECR has rescheduled trains. |
