Title - Mysuru Division third best in terms of train’s punctuality

During the Railway Week celebrations Mysuru Division of the South Western Railway (SWR) emerged as the third best division in the country in terms of train services punctuality.

Railway judge punctuality by the departure and timely arrival of the trains. For Mysuru division it was as high as 98.64% for passenger trains and 97.58% for mail and express trains.

Atul Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysuru Division took a briefing about the performance recently and Mysuru division also won efficiency shields for ‘Medical and Safety’ while Kadur station was given the best railway station award in minor category.
