Title - Mysore Division of SWR launches unique security drive

The Mysore Divisional railway authorities of the South Western Railway have put in place a unique system to ensure safe travel of passengers.Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Anup Dayanand Sadu told newsmen here that all the 500 coaches under the division would have stickers providing the telephone numbers of RPF control room to help passengers contact them in the case of any untoward incident happened inside the train.Even suspicious movements or action by any body, if noticed shall be brought to the notice of the RPF security police inside the train or contact the control room for further actions, he added.He said the authorities have already installed as many as 18 CCTV with 24 hours controlling by the RPF.The Mysore Division Railway Protection Force (RPF) had increased strict vigil on passenger and expresses trains between Mysore and Bangalore and other sections following the shocking incident in Maddur in which a girl was pushed out of a moving train by few miscreants.
