ALLAHABAD: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) examination was conducted successfully at different centres on Sunday. About 32 per cent candidates appeared in the examination.Railway Recruitment Board chairman Sanjeev Mathur said out of 42,300 applicants, about 18,900 candidates appeared in the exam. Flying squads comprising railway officers and employees visited the exam centres.RRB examination was conducted for selecting candidates on the post of section engineer. The exam was held from 11am till 1pm. The examination was conducted at 48 centres in the city.Meanwhile, for the convenience of candidates, North Central Railway extended Allahabad-Chunar passenger and added extra coaches in some regular trains on Sunday. Train number 54104 Allahabad-Chunar passenger was extended upto Mughalsarai. In addition, one extra general coach was attached to the train number 15159 Sarnath Express and train number 15004 Chauri Chaura Express. |
