Title - More than 1000 chain pulling incidents in Allahabad

Indian Railway is unable to curb out chain pulling incidents especially in Allahabad division which is one of the busiest, handling over 300 trains daily.

There are more than 1000 chain pulling incidents which accounts to atleast 34 per day. Railway though revealed that most chain pulling incidents takes place between Allahabad and Mirzapur. This section includes Manda, Meja, Jigna etc. stations which account maximum number of chain pulling incidents.

Apart from this division tundla-hathras-aligarh-khurja-dadri section also face the same chain pulling problem.
