Title - More police forces deployed

The district administration deployed additional police forces in the coastal areas of the district and in front of Central and State government offices as the supporters of anti-Kudunkulam project were expected to stage demonstrations and rail roko on Tuesday.According to police sources, additional police forces were deployed in Kanyakumari, Vivekananda rock memorial, Thiruvalluvar statue, Poombuhar shipping corporation, railway stations, post offices etc to prevent any untoward incidents. However, the day passed off peacefully.
