Title - Mobile teams formed by Pune Division to keep track of rail signals

To prevent any kind of tempering in train signalling system 4 mobile teams has been formed by Pune division of Central Railway. Each team will have 5 members who will visit various stations and patrol along rail lines. Also these teams will conduct surprise checks in suburban and rural stations.

The decision has been taken by central railway to curb any instance of signal tampering as it happened past. Especially with onset of monsoon security along side tacks usually takes a hit allowing miscreants to take advantage.

According to rail official, "The teams will also conduct surprise checks to assess various arrangements — including security — at stations. Any issues will be brought to the notice of senior officials. Flooding is a common issue. Patrolmen and watchmen are being deployed at vulnerable locations."
