Title - Mishap averted in Howrah-Chennai train

A fire broke out in Howrah-Chennai mail on Monday caused tension among the passengers.The travellers who observed smoke and fire on the upper part of a bogie alerted the railway officials and averted a major mishap. The incident occurred between Dusi and Ponduru at around 1.30 pm. The railway officials observed that the fire broke out due to short circuit in the train. Technical team which came immediately from Vizianagaram rectified the mistake and gave the clearance to operate the train as usual.
