Of every three trains approaching the busy Rajiv Chowk Metro station during morning peak hours on the Jahangirpuri-HUDA City Centre line, two will be eight-coach trains and further six more trains at one train per week will be converted into eight-coach trains. Presently, 27 trains (of eight coaches each) have already been introduced on this line.Starting Monday, the Delhi Metro will also introduce two additional trips from Kashmere Gate towards Gurgaon, the busiest section on the line, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. to clear passenger rush. The Dilshad Garden-Rithala Line, will now see six-coach trains within the next three to four months. The busy Dwarka Sec-21 to Noida City Centre/Vaishali will also see two additional trains inducted during peak time – one from Janakpuri West to Vaishali and one from Nodia Sec-16 to Dwarka Sec-21. |
