Title - Man held for harassing women in Thiruvanathapuram -Mangalapuram Express

In the seventh such incident in the state since July, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested a 30-year-old man on charges of outraging the modesty of two women passengers in the Thiruvanathapuram -Mangalapuram Express on Thursday.

The women alleged that the accused, Vinilkumar from Kanyakumari, had mentally and physically harassed the duo while they were sleeping on their berth and caused them intense duress.

When the train reached Shoranur railway station on Thursday early morning, the victims lodged a formal complaint and the police arrested the man. As the incident happened between Thrissur and Shoranur, the Railway Protection Force  brought him to Thrissur at noon.
