Title - Lensmen capture life on Kalka-Shimla track

Chandigarh:
Capturing the seasons and life on the railway stations on the heritage Kalka-Shimla track, two of the city lensmen today organised a photography exhibition at the Punjab Kala Bhawan, Sector 16. The exhibition was inaugurated by Union Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal. While interacting with the lensmen, Sanjay Kaushal and Shubh Mohan Singh, Bansal appreciated their work and passion for this heritage track.Sharing their experience, Shubh Mohan Singh said that it took them two years to cover the different moods of life near the track and on railway stations. “The railway employees guided us with tips on train timings and scenic locations where better photographs could be captured for our collection,” he said.Sanjay Kaushal said he was personally attached to the heritage track as in the childhood he travelled on it for four years to reach his school. The major attraction of the exhibition was the photograph of the longest and highest bridge on the track.
