Title - Laptop worth rupees 30 lakh seized from rail thieves

Railway Police Force busted a gang of rail thieves stealing laptops on Friday. Laptops worth Rs 30 lakh were recovered from the accused. Last September a passenger lodged a complaint of laptop being stolen when he was travelling to Pune from Konark Express.

During investigation the police zeroed in on Jagdish Soni with help of mobile data analysis. Jagdish Soni is a resident of Firozabad Uttar Pradesh.

A team of railway crime branch nabbed him from Uttar Pradesh. During interrogation, Soni accepted his involvement in laptop stealing along with Kamal Yadav and Dinesh Nirmal, also residents of Firozabad. Thereafter, police also arrested the other two persons and seized 27 Apple laptops and one Lenovo laptop of the complainant.
