Title - Landslips affect movement of trains

The Railways has on Saturday cancelled the operation of train nos. 16518/16517 Kannur –Yeshwanthpur – Kannur Express via Mangalore Central from either end due to landslips between Sakleshpur and Subramanya Road stations in Mysore division of the South Western Railway.Trains between Mangalore and Bangalore were cancelled on Friday following six landslips between Sakleshpur and Subramanya Road. The operation of train no. 16515/06 Yeshwanthpur-Karwar-Yeshwanthpur on Sunday has also been suspended. Clearing of the track was affected because of heavy rainfall and it is hoped that it would be ready by Sunday. — Special Correspondent
