Title - Konkan Rly to run extra 20 special trains for Ganapati festival

Mumbai : The Konkan Railway (KR) today announced that it will run 20 extra special trains, in addition to the already announced 60 special trains on its route recently, between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Madure in Sawantwadi taluka of Sindhudurg district to ease the heavy rush of passengers for the upcoming Ganpati festival. These additional trains will run from September 15 to October three, an official release said here. These trains will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Vilawade, Rajapur, Vaibhavwadi, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal and Sawantwadi stations. These trains will have 18 coaches with composition of 10 Sleeper coaches, two AC 3-tiers, one AC-2 tier, three General and two SLR coaches, it added.
