Title - Konkan Railway to run 12 more winter special trains on its route

In addition to 34 winter special trains announced recently, the Konkan Railway (KR) today said that it, in co-ordination with Central Railway (CR), will run another 12 special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)-Ernakulam and LTT-Tirunelveli for the convenience of its passengers. The 01065 LTT-Ernakulam Special would depart from LTT at 1655 hrs and arrive at Ernakulam at 2100 hrs next day. This train will run on December 12, 19 and 26, a KR release here said.

While, in return journey, 01066 Ernakulam-LTT Special will depart from Ernakulam at 2330 hrs and arrive at LTT at 0200 hrs next day. This train will run on December 13, 20 and 27. The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Sawantwadi, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road, Byndoor, Udupi, Thokur, Mangalore Jn., Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Kuttipuram, Shornur, Thrissur and Aluva stations.

The train will have 19 coaches with composition of eleven Sleepers, two AC III Tier, one AC II Tier, three general and two SLR coaches, the release added.
