Title - Kochi Metro Rail to be executed by DMRC: Sreedharan

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Principal Adviser Dr E Sreedharan today said the Kerala Government had entrusted the work of executing the proposed Kochi Metro Rail Project to DMRC.Addressing the officials of the DMRC's KMR Project, he said the project would be completed in three years.Stating the DMRC would maintain cordial relations with KMRL for the speedy and successful completion of the project, he instructed the officials of the DMRC to maintain better co-ordination and amicable relations with all the departments of the Kerala Government.Dr Sreedharan emphasised the need for the officials of the DMRC to take utmost care in executing the metro work without causing inconvenience to the public,a release said here quoting him.A well-planned initiative had to be taken in maintaining the safety of the road users, public as well as the workers at the site, he added.
