Title - Kesamudram Railway Station Upgraded as Adarsh Station

As part of Upgradation as Adarsh Railway Station, Kesamudram station has now become an Adarsh Railway station. On April 28, the new stations building was inaugurated by MLA Shri B.Shankar Naik alongwith Shri A. Seetaram Naik in the presence of other Rail officials.

Declared as o­ne of the twenty two “Adarsh stations” on South Central Railway, the renovation work was completed at a cost of Rs. 1.35 crores.

Kesamudram now has new station building, general waiting hall, toilet facilities, new Pay & Use Toilets. Point of sale (PoS) machine is also available at booking cum reservation counters.

One Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (ATVM) has also been provided with a facilitator for convenience of the passengers. The station presently handles 24 daily and 4 non-daily express/passenger trains carrying an average of 1842 passengers with an average earning of 0.59 lakhs per day.
