Title - Kamakhya - Bangalore Humsafar Express to connect Tripura to South India

Kamakhya - Bangalore Humsafar express is all set to run from / to Agartala. Coming Thursday a formal inauguration is scheduled in Agartala. This 14 coaches train will run via Badarpur in the Barak valley. It will depart from Agartala at 5AM and will halt at following stations between Agartala and Guwahati -

Ambasha, Dharmanagar, New Karimganj, Badarpur, New Haflong and Lumding.

The train has three-tier air conditioned Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches with features like LED screens to show information about stations, and train speed, an announcement system, vending machines for tea, coffee and milk, bio-toilets in compartments and CCTV cameras.

Humsafar Express is the first train to connect the southern part of India with Tripura.
